When Cole and I decided to implement the use of an application for this year's senior model program we did so with no certainty of how it would go. Thankfully it turned out to be a great idea! And although it was difficult to sort through the applications and not be ale to accept them all, it did give us the opportunity to learn more about each individual model.
2020 Lakeside senior, Avery Berkley is a shining example of an applicant who blew us away!
One of the questions we asked all applicants to answer was: What are your plans after graduation?
Avery responded with the following....
"I plan to get my welding certificate at a technical college in Kansas and then complete my commercial dive certificate in Seattle so I can start my career as an underwater welder."
Whaaat?!? How cool is that!
She also described herself as goal orientated, dynamic, animated, kind, considerate, hardworking, mature, organized and dependable...all of which have shown through in the few short times we've had the opportunity to be around her!
After the model shoot and gallery opening, we kicked off Avery's personal senior pictures with a sports session. This gave Cole got the opportunity to shoot his first round of high jump pictures since leaving the journalism field, and as a previous high jumper...I know he was pretty excited. Avery did awesome (as we knew she would). We can't wait to get her back in the studio this August!
Thank you Avery for applying to our model program and welcome to the #coleweberle_seniors family!
